TalentScope Recruitment Solutions on behalf our of client is working on a retained basis for an IT Operations Manager role in Dublin city centre.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- You will plan, manage and co-ordinate the operations of the organisation and report directly to the Managing Director.
- You will help improve the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of business and organisational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.
- You will work with the finance team to review pricing, profitability and budgeting from an operations perspective.
- You will prepare and manage operations budgets.
- You will review and improve internal and departmental processes and policies in line with organisational goals and monitor and manage adherence to same.
- You will work closely with HR to plan the best use of team resources including hiring the necessary operations team.
- You will establish organisational structures within the operations team and in the organisation where needed, delegate tasks and introduce KPIs and manage and monitor same.
- You will improve the efficiency of support services including HR, IT and Finance.
- You will work closely with the senior management team to assist in the development of strategic plans for operational purposes, you will implement and manage operational plans.
- You will help to bring IT operations for overseas clients in-house. This is currently being outsourced.
- You will work closely with the Managing Director to support the overseas offices on operational matters.
- You will review and oversee the current marketing support.
The Ideal Candidate
- MUST have experince working within the Financial Services Sector
- You have a relevant third level qualifications/education around business management/IT Operations management etc…
- You are leader who leads by example.
- You have a proven track record (5 years +) within an operations management role of introducing processes and managing same effectively.
- You have worked in a professional services organisation and ideally within the technology sector.
- You are strong at bringing people with you on a journey of change where needed, you have strong people management skills.
- You are comfortable at presenting at board level.
- You have a strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting etc..
- You have a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- You understand the operations element of the marketing function.
