TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, are working with one of Ireland’s leading technology businesses to hire an experienced Procurement Manager to their Global team based in Dublin. In this role you will be joining a team focused on the procurement of IT, Telecoms and Cloud services to a Global function.
The ideal candidate for this role will have worked in one of the above areas and be familiar with suppliers and specifications associate with the procurement of these services. They will be enthusiastic and driven to add value to an established but growing business and have the ability and experience to work closely with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the creation and delivery of category plans and sourcing activities
- Building and maintaining category expertise, apply best practices around sourcing approach, supplier selection, total cost of ownership and negotiation tactics
- Identifying business improvements leveraging the commercial, design and process to minimise the Total Cost of Ownership
- Collaborating with regional and industry teams, execute and deliver category plan
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience managing and leading teams – 5 years in a Procurement Management role.
- Previous experience related to the IT/Technology/Telecom
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to manage complex, strategic and commercial requirements
- Experience in business partnering and supplier relationship management
- Continuous improvement skills that exceeds customer expectations
