TalentScope Recruitment Solutions on behalf of our SAAS client in Dublin, is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for their team. This will be our 6th hire for the team and we are working on an exclusive basis with the organisation.
This is a well-established and extremely highly regarded SAAS company with a high performing tech/product team operating out of Dublin.
They need to add real expertise in the team (currently 7 data engineers), their data setup currently isn’t where they need it to be… you would be evaluating this and leading the efforts of moving away from it essentially. Possibly an ideal option for a Senior Data Engineer looking to progress into a more senior/leadership role.
You will have a huge amount of ownership here, liaising everyday with the CTO, having a say in key architectural discussions, building dashboards, working with the AWS stack etc (AWS Glue, AWS Athena). Skills Required:
– 8+ years’ experience with Data Engineering expertise.
– AWS expertise (Glue, Athena in particular)
– Experience with Spark & SQL.
– A strong communicator, able to lead a team.
– Experience working in a SAAS company.
Candidates must be currently eligible to work in Ireland and hold either an EU Passport or Stamp 4 Work Permit. Interviews will be in person (office based) so candidates should be available in Ireland to interview.
